  • What are the dimensions for a twin, full, queen, king size mattresses? How long are extra long twin and full matresses?

    Twin mattress is 39 x 75 and a Super Twin is 39 x 80.
    Full mattress is 54 x 75 and a Super Full is 54 x 80.
    Queen mattress is 60 x 80.
    King mattress is 76 x 80.

  • What changes in my lifestyle call for a change in my mattress?

    Getting older and bigger. Check to see if your mattress still provides adequate comfort and space as you age. Getting married. Congratulations! Your new mattress should give each of you enough room for easy, free movement. Queen or King sizes are recommended. Full and twin mattresses are constructed to support the weight of only one adult. Moving into a bigger house and you have more space for the larger mattress that you always wanted.

  • How can I tell if my mattress is no longer providing me with comfort and support?

    A valley runs down the center of your mattress or there is sagging across the middle third of the mattress or along the edges. Mattress makes creaking noises. You wake up sore in the morning or you are experiencing back pain. You find yourself twisting and turning throughout the night.

  • What is the proper care for a mattress?

    Twice a year, turn and rotate your mattress and foundation to smooth and equalize normal wear. Never use the handles to support the full weight of the mattress. Replace the foundation when purchasing anew mattress.

  • Is there any way to clean a mattress?

    Vacuuming is the most desired method to clean a mattress. If you are very determined to remove a stain, try mixing mild soap with cold water and rubbing lightly on the stain. A quality washable mattress pad will prevent stains on your mattress.

  • Are all bed frames the same?

    No. On queen and king size mattresses, it is important to have a frame that has a pole going across the center for center support. This will prevent sagging and increase life to your mattress set. It is better if there is a fifth leg to the bottom of the floor attached to center of the frame.

  • What does coil count and coil design refer to?

    Coils are the springs that support your body. A healthy coil count starts at 450 coils. Coil design reflects a beds overall feel but does not affect the durability of the mattress.

  • What is a quality foundation made of?

    The foundation is the bottom part of the sleep set which acts as a shock absorber and provides support to your mattress. Foundations are referred to as boxsprings and are typically made of fiberband covered wooden frame. High quality lumber is important.

  • My mattress feels soft, yet it is being claimed as a firm?

    Mattresses are built today with new cushion materials such as pillow-tops and surface treatments for a softer feel. The mattress still provides the firmness to support your body. It is the inner construction that counts towards firmness.
